- Bring your booking reference and two forms of ID such as passport or driving licence with you when you come to the store
Packing
- Wrap fragile goods in bubble wrap to avoid breakages
- Cover items that might get scratched in transit
- Put heavier items in smaller boxes so that they’re easier to carry.
- Label boxes clearly, so that you know where to retrieve things
- Clean outdoor equipment such as gardening tools or golf clubs before transporting
Storing
- Bring your goods to the store and load them into your unit using our trolleys
- Put the heaviest items at the bottom of the unit
- Place items you may need access to most frequently at the front of the unit

Q. What is self storage?
Self storage is a simple, flexible storage solution for things you don’t need every day. You decide how much space you need, bring your stuff down to the store and load it into your unit. You only pay for the space you need and for the length of time you need it. Minimal rental is 28 days.
Q. Are there any items that I can’t store with you?
We can’t take living things, perishable goods or anything that could be flammable. Lawnmowers and other petrol engines should be drained before you bring them in.
Q. How much will it all cost?
We have a range of different units from very small to very large and prices vary according to size. You can be certain that you won’t pay for any more space than you need.
Q. Can I get help moving my stuff into store?
Our friendly staff will supply expert advice and you can use our trolleys. If you need an extra pair of hands to load your stuff in, though, you’ll have to bring them with you!
Q. How often can I get access to my things?
You can visit your unit as often as you need during reception hours, 365 days a year and we won’t charge you any extra. Extended access (5am - 11pm) and 24/7 access to your unit are available by arrangement only.

You can book space and buy packaging material online or visit our shop within Simply Self Storage and buy what you need there

You can book space over the phone and use our helpful space calculator but we’re also happy to welcome you onsite and carry out the transaction there.
Q. How long can I store my goods?
You can leave your things with us as long as you need to.
Q. Will my things be safe?Our store is protected by CCTV and only you can gain access to your own unit.
